Dr. Jaime A.B. Wilson brings a wealth of experience in working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including the deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, and blind populations. He is profoundly deaf and communicates by lip reading as well as via American Sign Language (ASL).
Dr. Wilson received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He completed his doctoral internship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital in south Florida. Dr. Wilson then went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship residency at Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Wilson has experience working in a range of settings, including hospitals, prisons, courts, community health clinics, and schools. He has also worked with deaf and hard of hearing individuals that come from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
