Paul Alan Fahey
Paul was the first presenter of a LGBT workshop at the 2015 Central Coast Writers Conference. The class was hailed as a fine accomplishment for his contribution and motivation.
The Lillian Dean Inspiration Award is given by the Central Coast Writers Conference to a Central Coast author who has demonstrated achievement in his or her field of work, facilitated early writers to grow and flourish and is a mentor/peer to all who tap the keys. The award is named for the Cuesta College instructor who created the Central Coast Writers Conference 31 years ago and encouraged writers to improve their skills and ultimately publish. Past recipients include Wendelin Van Draanen, Tom Wilmer, David Congalton and other distinguished writers.
Award ceremony will be part of the Keynote at the Central Coast Writer’s Conference on Friday September 30, 2016 at the Cuesta Cultural and Performing Arts Center.
About Paul: Paul Alan Fahey writes for JMS Books, a small LGBT press in VA. He is the author of Lovers & Liars, an honorable mention in the 2014 Rainbow Awards, and the editor of the 2013 Rainbow Award-winning nonfiction anthology, The Other Man: 21 Writers Speak Candidly About Sex, Love, Infidelity, & Moving On. His first LGBT novella, The View From 16 Podwale Street, won a 2012 Rainbow Award.
